Zion and Bryce National Parks: Southern Utah Beauty!
The pictures below were taken at Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Dunes State Park, and Zion National Park in Southern Utah. While we were a bit early to hike the Narrows, there was plenty to see..... even 4 feet of snow at our timeshare in Brian Head! We went from new, fresh-fallen snow, to rocky cliffs, ornate Hoo Doos, and even had time to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary! Blissful! If you're looking for something in particular that is not here, fill out a contact form... I have MANY MORE pictures!
Colorado River Reflection-- Moab, Utah
We went for an evening boat ride along the Colorado River and I loved how the mountains reflected in the water. It was great to see the red rocks from the water's view instead of from the mountains. We even saw rock climbers... not for me!! Click on picture for larger view
Dead Horse State Park- Utah
I know, terrible name for a State Park.....Dead Horse Point is a promontory of stone surrounded by steep cliffs near Moab, Utah. The overlook at Dead Horse Point is 6,000 feet above sea level. Two thousand feet below, the Colorado River winds its way from the continental divide in Colorado to the Gulf of California, a distance of 1,400 miles.

Heart Crevice-- Fiery Fins, Arches National Park
I was drawn to this crevice by the heart-shaped formation... and with the light shining through, it was magical. If you've never visited the Fiery Fins, I highly recommend it! You need to have a guide to go through them to protect the grounds... and to help you find your way out!!

Mesa Arch with Grass
We had to wait until all the spectators were gone but were able to get a shot without people in the picture. From a low position, I thought this helped show the majesty of nature's creation. Click on picture for larger view
Stewart Brook Falls- Sundance Utah
We were here in September and the colors were just beginning to change. This was a hike through the mountains and we stopped at Stewart Falls to have lunch. This was the brook nearby. Click on picture for larger view
