We spent our 21st wedding anniversary at Niagara Falls, Ontario... gorgeous weather, stunning views, soaked from the mist and spray from a jet boat going over level 5 rapids...... it was heavenly! Please share it with me!
Canvas Joy... Providing Inspiration and "Joy" through Photography
Canvas Joy was inspired by the childhood book: "The Little Engine That Could" (Watty Piper and Loren Long). "I think I can, I think I can," was the mantra recited by the little train... that, through perseverance, passion and commitment, accomplished its dreams! "I CAN" is a powerful belief that turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy!
Our life is very much like a canvas. We are the artists who paint our life canvas. The canvas may change over time, it can move from darkness to light, be populated by many, or by a few who hold a special place in our heart; it may contain sweeping vistas or pictures of simple beauty. The magic in our canvas is the power that comes from realizing that we are the creator..... and, at any time, we have the choice to re-paint, re-vision, and re-create our life canvas.
Joy's Canvases are 1.5" thick, gallery-wrapped where the canvas extends the entire frame of the print. The edge can include the whole print, or be a solid color to provide accent. The texture and vibrancy of the giclee print makes it come alive! Joy's prayer is that every time you look at these canvases, it "speaks" to you, warms your soul and causes you to smile.............

Let me introduce you to my wonderful Mom: Elaine Weisberg! My mom has always loved water (she lives in New England) and at the ripe "young" age of 78, spends some of her time in her recliner (isn't it interesting how we gravitate to recliners as we get older????), in her den, watching TV and admiring her canvas. This brings her "joy," literally..... in shortening the distance between she and I (Maryland and Massachusetts), and figuratively, in the joy she gets in placing herself on the cliffside house, glancing out over the Ligurian Sea!

Now you can get copies of Joy's photographs in these hand-made, personally autographed, heavy card-stock note cards. Each card has an actual photographic print on the front of the card, with Joy's signature and label of where the picture is from. Blank inside for your own personal message. Comes in boxes of 10, either pre-packaged by theme (Italy, Flowers, Mountains, Still Life), or you can choose the pictures you'd like and Joy will make a custom box of 10. Taking her inspiration from Dewitt Jones, Ansel Adams, John Muir, and others, Joy looks for "what's here to celebrate?" She celebrates nature, simplicity, majesty, spirit, beauty, and elegance. Joy's pictures evoke positive emotions and cause you to pause, breathe, and experience awe and gratitude. Joy specializes in travel photography: her pictures have been taken in National Parks, on backroads, Colorado mountain trails, in quaint, 12th century Italian towns, and in major cities .. wherever the mood hits her and her camera is with her!
Inspiration
Joy believes that it's in giving, that one receives.... in serving that one is served, that in inspiring, one is inspired. If one person pauses, reflects, smiles, and has their heart warmed as a result of viewing her pictures, or reading an inspirational quote, then her purpose is fulfilled. In a world often filled with fear and scarcity, the recognition of abundance all around us can heal and transform the world!
